Juggling & pebbles
How do we engage with a world that’s spiralling out of control? What do we do when we’ve run out of strength? We need a refuge. A treehouse! To take a deep breath. To light candles and invent rituals. To tell grand stories with little pebbles. To summon the jeweller, the fairy, the wise one and the dinosaurs of our childhood. To fight the villains, dare to feel anger, transform, and become multicoloured creatures. To shout louder, cry harder, love more deeply. To broaden our horizons and, above all, to give ourselves a break! To get back to basics: a fire, marshmallows and the wild joy of dreaming together.

This trio then went on to form a new company: the Anoraks theatre company. The Scratch theatre company, meanwhile, disbanded in 2024 to become the Scratch collective.

Shows about the little things that make up everyday life: failures, hesitations, doubts, attempts, small victories, aspirations. Shows to remind us that we don’t need to be heroes to dare to throw ourselves into the void. That you can build your dreams from nothing. And that life is undoubtedly easier to get through when you’re with your friends, around a barbecue and a good beer. Company Anoraks won’t be presenting anything incredibly impressive, but their shows will always be accompanied by great conviction.ur parler de ces petites choses qui font le quotidien : les échecs, les
